Corporate Responsibility

Hamilton Sundstrand and its employees are strong supporters of charities and non-profit organizations located in the communities where its employees live and work.

The company and its employees support these organizations through volunteer events and funding allocated according to United Technologies Corp.'s charitable giving policy, which supports qualified 501(c) 3 organizations that meet the corporation's eligibility criteria and operate in the company's focus areas. In Greater Hartford, Conn., UTC supports grants in arts and culture, math and science education, the environment and human services (through the United Way). Nationally, UTC provides grants to arts organizations and groups engaged in environmental sustainability work.

Employees may also apply for mini-grants of up to $500 in support of causes or organizations not covered under UTC's charitable giving policy.
